Public bus ride Quito – Lago Agrio – Quito

We can recommend the following bus companies: Esmeraldas, Baños, Occidentales, and Loja. Buses depart from the Carcelén bus station in the north of Quito or from Quitumbe in the south. You can buy tickets at the Esmeraldas bus company office, located on 9 de Octubre and Colón Street, near Plaza Foch, or at the bus station in Carcelen or Quitumbe. If you are coming from Baños, you can buy tickets to Lago Agrio online (Transporte Baños).

However, there are several different bus companies that run from Quito to Lago Agrio, allowing you to get there almost every hour during the day.

The meeting point is at Magic Paradise Farm in Lago Agrio at 9:30 am for those arriving by bus.
